About This Vacation
Your journey starts in Bavaria with beer, bread and lederhosen (BYO lederhosen). Explore the Bavarian capital from its monastic roots, to the high Renaissance, through two World Wars until today. Afterward, voyage out to the foot of the German Alps in Garmisch for a visit to the famed Neuschwanstein Castle. Marvel at the hundreds of Alps peaks from the top of the Zugspitze. Venture onward to Salzburg in Austria, an ancient trading post for, you guessed it, salt, that transformed into a Baroque jewel of a city and the birthplace of Mozart.
