I started Trademark Vacations to share my passion for travel and all the amazing experiences I’ve had traveling and living in Europe over the past 20 years.
Since 2017, we've created thousands of custom vacations to destinations all over Europe. No dream is too big, and with our travel experts and local guides in Europe, we want all of our customers to create once-in-a-lifetime memories and experiences. At heart, we are a team of travelers. Our team has lived, worked, and traveled all around Europe. We have offices in Illinois, the UK, and France. We have first-hand knowledge of almost every European country and over 250 cities and destinations. Our Founder, Shawn, has been to over 160 cities and lived and worked in five countries. Our Travel & River Cruise expert, Beth, heads our London office. And, our Travel Expert, Scott, is based in France. We take pride in our destination knowledge and are excited to share the hotels, tours, and activities that we enjoy on our own trips. We treat every trip like a family vacation with an attention to detail and a focus on creating special experiences for lasting memories. Nearly every picture you see on our website and in your itinerary was taken by a member of our team.

It’s a European trip tailor made for you. We work with you to build a one-of-a-kind European vacation. Most trips usually feature multiple countries and include international airfare, private transfers, hand-picked hotels, private and small-group tours, and tickets to top attractions.
We’ve created hundreds, if not thousands, of itineraries, and we’ve created a few travel packages for our most popular requests like our Experience Italy or London, Paris and Rome packages. Over the years we’ve found the hotels and experiences that we–and our customers–love. You’ll save a little money and time relative to a custom vacation, but you’ll get the same quality.
We love traveling Europe and sharing our favorite destinations and experiences, but that’s just the beginning. When you work with us, we work with you–from planning and preparing until you return home. We take great pride in providing unparalleled customer service. With our US and London offices, we have a small and dedicated team that knows your vacation inside and out and is there for any question and need before, during and after your trip. No. Our trips are fully-independent travel–no big tour buses and large groups with goofy flags. Small Group or Private Tours may be included as part of your trip, but you’ll be traveling with your own party along the way. Each trip can be anything from solo travel, a family vacation, or big trip with your closest friends.
It’s industry jargon for being a traveler on your own timetable. To most of us, this is just ‘traveling’, but it specifically means not part of a group with a shared itinerary. With us, you travel at your own leisure and pace, and you can choose your itinerary.
Of course! Multi-city travel with multiple families/parties takes a lot of time and care to plan. Accommodating and balancing the needs of each traveler is a bit of art and a bit of science. We will happily help you make the most out of your vacation regardless of how many travelers are in your party.
Short answer: No. The longer answer: travel agents sell other companies’ products and get paid by the travel suppliers (e.g. hotels and airlines). We work for you and each of our vacations, whether package or custom, is one-of-a-kind to Trademark Vacations. We don’t have to push destinations or sell inventory. Our service is personalized and human centered. We want to share our love of all these amazing European destinations and work with you to create your dream vacation.
Of course you can. If you like the thrill of planning your vacation to your dream destinations, then we encourage it. Every travel expert has to start somewhere. We know our customers can book flights and hotels whenever and wherever they want. Our customers choose to work with us because we know Europe. We’ve been to the cities, we’ve taken the tours, we’ve walked the streets. We have relationships with local companies and operators. You choose us because we’ve been there, and when you’re on your trip, we’ll be there for you.
We travel wherever inspiration strikes us, but we only sell what we know best, and that is Europe. While we’d love to help you plan a trip down the Nile or an Antarctic expedition, we just wouldn’t be the best ones to do that.
